We were deeply saddened to hear of the death of HE Cardinal Joachim Meisner – a great friend of John Paul II. Former Archbishop of Cologne died in the morning of 5 of July,  during his vacation in Bad Fuessing.

The Cardinal was a guest in our Museum on 30 August 2016. Staying in the family home of the Polish Pope was a touching experience for him, and brought back many beautiful memories of their friendship. It was a great honor for us to have such a wonderful man as our guest. Below are photos from the visit of dec.
