On November 23rd., the Museum was visited by Mrs Elżbieta Śledź-Orlicka, who – last year – donated to the Museum a student’s credit book with Rev. Karol Wojtyla’s signature and a badge of the Catholic University of Lublin.

Mrs. Elżbieta was a student of the Faculty of Christian Philosophy at the University in the 1950s, specializing in Practical Philosophy. In the academic year 1955/56, during the 1st and 2nd trimester, she attended classes „The History of Ethical Doctrines” led by Rev. Dr. Karol Wojtyła – hence his signatures in the student’s credit book, marking completion of lectures from this subject. Both the student’s credit book and the badge can be viewed at the permanent exhibition in the section devoted to the scientific activity of the future Pope. Mrs Elżbieta met also with the staff of the Museum, with whom she shared the memories of her exceptional lecturer.
