On October 12, 2014,  the concert „THE HOUSE ON THE ROCK” took place in the Basilica of Santa Maria in Aracoeli, on the Campidoglio in Rome. The concert was organized to celebrate the recent opening of the new permanent exhibition in our Museum Family Home of John Paul II in Wadowice. The event was attended by the Polish songwriter Agnieszka Chrzanowska associated with the Piwnica pod Baranami and Krzysztofory (cultural centers in Cracow, Poland) and the Italian composer and accordionist Marco Lo Russo.

The artistic frame was made up of pictures from the museum archives, presenting the young Karol Wojtyla and of photographs taken by Marcin Brzózka, which were the background for sungpoetry on the life history of the Holy Father. The Polish Ambassador to the Holy See, H.E. Piotr Nowina-Konopka, greeting the guests, emphasized the extraordinary nature of this event, which was a tribute to the Polish pope in Rome in the Eternal City.
