On Sunday, José Octavio Ruiz Arenas (born in Bogota – Colombia), the Secretary of the Pontifical Council for Promoting New Evangelization in Rome together with Fr. Krzysztof Marcjanowicz, a priest of our Archdiocese working in the council, visited our museum. The archbishop was appointed bishop and archbishop by Pope John Paul II. After the appointment of bishop, John Paul II personally put the pectoral cross on Bishop’s, Ruiz Arenas, neck. The visit was a touching reminder of the collaboration between the Archbishop and the Holy Father John Paul II. The Secretary of the Pontifical Council said that the Museum fits perfectly with the new evangelization, a firm believer of which was our Holy Father.
