We are pleased to inform you that the Museum Family Home of the Holy Father John Paul II in Wadowice has obtained the certificate of accessibility for people with motor disabilities and visual impairment. On behalf of the institution, the award received Mrs. Beata Wilk-Woderska, the Deputy Director for Organizational Development.

We want to remember that „Małopolska. Sensitive Culture” is a project that aims to increase the presence of people with disabilities in cultural institutions. Its main objective is to adapt the offer and space of cultural institutions to the needs of every person who is interested in active participation in cultural life. During the two years of the project, over 700 employees of theaters, museums and cultural centers in the Małopolska region were trained, starting from the reception and exhibition staff, to museum educators and curators and to so called „accessibility coordinators”. Last year, Polish sign language courses for employees of the institutions were also organized.
