„Poetic Tour” of the Museum

The lovers of Karol Wojtyła’s poetry came together, on Sunday, December 14 to attend the „poetic tour” of our Museum. Piotr Piecha, the actor of theater Ludowy of Kraków, read the poems presented at the exhibition, and Michał Jakubczyk, the deputy director of the museum talked about interesting topics related to the creation of individual poems. The people interested in the poetry of John Paul II, among whom there was also Monika Jabłońska  arrived from New York, the author of a book about literary works of Karol Wojtyla, published two weeks ago, listened to the interpretation of the poems:

„Wpis K.W. do pamiętnika Danuty Pukłówny” (Danuta Pukłówna’s diary entry of Karol Wojtyła) of May 1938, „List do Przyjaciela” (Letter to a Friend) and „Nad Twoją białą mogiłą” (Over This Your White Grave) of spring 1939, „Pieśń o Bogu ukrytym” (Song of the Hidden God) of  1944, „Kościół” (The Church) of 1962 and „Stanisław” (Stanislas) of 1978.
