Karol Wojtyła’s Family Home is also a great object of interest to various representatives of different cultures. At the beginning of March this year, two Tibetan Buddhist monks visited our new exhibition and with great concentration and joy saw all the rooms. Geshe Nyima Woser and Geshe Yungdrung Gyatso who possess the highest level of academic education in Tibetan monastic education, visiting our exhibition, they found many elements of the Saint John Paul II pontificate they could identify with.In particular, the photographs commemorating the Great Pope meeting with the Dalai Lama brought back many happy memories for them. We’ve heard the phrase in Tibetan: „John Paul II was born in Wadowice.”
