On February 3, 2020, Fr. Łukasz Piórkowski officially took over the functions of the museum director.

The new Director was welcomed by Mr. Rafał Stuglik – President of the Commission for Culture of the Małopolska Regional Assembly, by Ms Monika Gubała – Director of the Department of Culture, National Heritage and Promotion of the Marshal’s Office of the Małopolska Region, and by the staff of the Museum.
