The members of the rock band „Luxtorpeda” visited the new exhibition at the Family Home of John Paul II. On Saturday, February 7th, they gave a concert in Wadowice. The musicians: Robert „Litza” Friedrich (guitar, vocals), Przemysław „Hans” Frencel (vocals), Robert „Drężmak” Drężel (guitar), Krzysztof „Kmieta” Kmiecik (bass) and Tomasz „Krzyżyk” Krzyżaniak (drums) crossed carefully all areas of exposure in the Family Home of Karol Wojtyła, devoting two hours to this visit. They promised to come next time with their families. The band has existed for as long as our museum under a new form of cultural institution. It was in fact founded in 2010, by Robert Friedrich (commonly known as the creator of the band „Arka Noego” ( Noah’s Ark)), who invited to cooperate his friends of several popular bands „2 Tm 2,3″(Drężmak, Kmita) and „Armia” (Krzyżyk). The following year they were joined by Hans. Then, the band released its debut album. The most famous song of this album is „Autystyczny” which has reached the highest position in the music charts, for several weeks. The most popular songs from the second album are „Hymn” and „Wilki dwa”. At the end of last year, a book called „Wilki dwa” (Two wolves) appeared on the book market. This book contains an interesting dialogue between Robert Friedrich and an itinerant preacher who is also a highly respected father, leading retreats, Adam Szustak OP. The book, as well as the lyrics of the songs performed by Luxtorpeda, in an original way describes the most important problems of the spiritual life.
